WHAT A TREAT!
Sundays in East London are the best! Having breakfast at the Sunday Market in Brick Lane, get your flowers at the Flower Market on Columbia road, and catching up with friends over a beer in your favorite pub, then drop by LILY VANILLI and treat yourself to mouthwatering cupcakes, brownies or some of that naughty absinthe and mint ice cream.
Just off Columbia Road, you’ll find Lily Vanilli Bakery tucked away in a lovely little courtyard amongst other vintage furniture shops. Space is limited, especially since this gem is only open on Sundays from 8.30am -4pm, but if you haven’t been there yet, I strongly suggest you pay a visit. I’ll guarantee you’ll be satisfied! ;-)
I do love the fact that Lily’s cakes & pastries is anything but you’re standard “girly-cute - stuff”. As you can see from the photos, it is always interesting to see what theme inspired the icing this week.
